Haack, Vivian (Marriage - 10 June 1943)
Thursday, June 10, was the wedding day for Miss Vivian Haack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand A. Haack, of Abbotsford, and Pfc. Howard Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kramer, of Abbotsford, Wis.
To the organ music of Lohengrin’s bridal chorus, Pfc. Kramer and his bride marched to the altar in the Lutheran church at Brownwood, Texas, where the Rev. Martin read the marriage service at 6:00 p.m.
They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William Smith.
For the occasion the bride wore a white summer frock with navy trim. Her white hat had a navy veil and her shoes were also navy.
The bride’s corsage was made of gardenias and red carnations. Her attendant’s was of pink carnations.
The wedding dinner for the bridal party was served at a café in Brownwood.
Pfc. Kramer is stationed at Camp Bowie, Texas. Mrs. Kramer, who left here on June 7, plans to remain at Brownwood for the summer but will return here for the opening of the school in the fall. Mrs. Kramer taught in the Abbotsford Grade School the past year.
