Kline, Irene (Marriage - 15 June 1943)
Miss Irene Kline, daughter of Mrs. Ira Spencer, and George Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Peterson, were united in marriage, Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. George E. Griffiths read the service at 2:30 at the Peterson home.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Engel, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, of Chippewa Falls.
The bride wore a street frock of beige Shetland and her attendant wore blue. Both wore corsages of iris, baby breath and forget me nots.
Mr. Peterson, who is employed as a truck driver for Francis Melvin, and his bride are making their home in Abbotsford in the upstairs apartment at the Mrs. Bertha Fink house.
Guests from away who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Engel and children, Eugene and Arley; Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Daggit and Gerald Peterson, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Vernie Ellingson and daughters, Charlotte and Lulu, and Kenneth Peterson of Ringle, and Leon Kline of Spencer.
