Dake, Ray (5 Mar. 1886 - 11 Aug. 1943)

Funeral services for Ray Dake, 57, who died at his home, Wednesday morning, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester, Wis. The Rev. J. Brandt will conduct the services.

Ray Dake was born March 5, 1886, at Phillips. He was married on Oct. 30, 1912, to Miss Molly Habeck at Two Rivers, Wis.

Mr. Dake, who lived on a farm in the Town of Mayville, had been in ill health the past two years and died there Wednesday morning.

Surviving him are his widow and six children: a daughter, Mrs. Willard Geary, of Curtiss; and five sons: Melvin, Springfield, Ill.; Cpl. Lester Dake of Camp Maxey, Texas; Wayne and Delbert, Reinbeck, Ia.; and Ray Jr., at home. One sister, Mrs. Albert Johnson, Chicago, also survives.
