Feirn, Marion (26 May 1906 - 3 November 1951)
Marion Wahl Feirn, age 45, died at the Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. after an illness of five weeks. The body lay in state at the Georgas Funeral Home until Tuesday when it was taken to the Masonic Temple, where services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Interment was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating.
Marion was born May 26, 1906 to Edward and Lida Wahl at Wausau. She attended school in Wausau and moved to Clark County with her parents at the age of nine. She attended the local elementary and high school and was graduated from Milton College at Eau Claire. She taught in rural schools in Clark County for several years, and was Worthy Matron of Carmi Chapter No. 60 of the Order of Eastern Star. She was married to Irvin Feirn at Rockford, Ill., in 1932.
She is survived by her father, Edward Wahl of Neillsville; and three sisters, Mrs. George P. (Ruth) White of Grants, New Mexico, Mrs. C. E. (Edna) Taylor of New Orleans, La., and Mrs. Alice Aquilu of Ottumwa, Ia.
Her mother preceded her in death on June 14, 1951.
