Scheeler, William (3 Mar. 1875 - 28 Aug. 1943)

William Scheeler, a former resident of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died in Portland, Oregon, Aug. 28. Burial was made there at Rose City cemetery.

Mr. Scheeler visited in Abbotsford this past year. He was called here in February by the serious illness and death of his sister, Mrs. Albert Franz. He was in ill health at that time and remained here until the middle of May.

William Scheeler was born March 3, 1875. He married Miss Otilia Engel and to this union eight children were born, all of whom preceded him in death except one daughter, Mrs. Helen Banneman, of Portland, Oregon.

The Scheeler family lived in Abbotsford until about 25 years ago, when they moved to Portland. While here, Mr. Scheeler worked on the section.

He is survived by his widow, one daughter, and two grand daughters, all in Portland, and two brothers, Herman and August, in Abbotsford, Wis.
