(Marriage - 22 May 1971)

Miss Nancy Jean Cole and Larry J. Krause exchanged wedding vows Saturday, May 22, at 1 p.m. in a ceremony performed in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal by the Very Reverend Norbert E. King.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cole of Rt. 2 Loyal are the parents of the bride, who is to graduate May 29 from Superior State University with a phy-ed major. She is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Krause of Rt. 3 Greenwood are the groom’s parents. A 1970 graduate of St. Norbert College in West De Pere, Krause is a running back with the Green Bay Packers.

For her wedding the bride chose a gown of imported organza styled with a high, stand-up collar of venise lace, bishop sleeves with lace appliqués, and a detachable, lace-edged chapel train. Lace also trimmed the bodice and the front panel of the A-line skirt. Her bouffant, silk illusion veil was held by venise lace petals. She was given in marriage by her father.

Mrs. Karen Schwarz of Boyceville was the matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Marcia Waterhouse of Chetek, Miss Nancy Diffatte of Milwaukee and Miss Debra Cole of Loyal. The bridal attendants wore empire-styled, floor -length gowns in a shaded blue design styled with long, puffed sleeves.

Dick Hilger of Antigo was bestman. Groomsmen were Steve Fischer, Gary Krause and Frank Reindl. Dick Zarada and Bruce Schwieso served as ushers. Sandi Zarada was the flowergirl.

Music was provided by the adult choir of St. Anthony’s by soloist Marcia Waterhouse and by organist Mrs. Edward Trnka.

A reception and dinner were held at Bali Hai Supper Club. Following a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin the newlyweds will make their home in Green Bay.
