Schultz, Myrtle (Marriage - 12 Apr. 1944)
Miss Myrtle Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schultz of Abbotsford, became the bride of Arthur Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Cole, of Dorchester, Wednesday, April 12, at 1:30 in the afternoon. Justice A. J. Latton of Medford performed the ceremony.
For the occasion the bride had chosen a gown of white satin and a finger tip veil. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.
Miss Carmen Schultz, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Beulah Jensen, cousin of the bride, of Chicago, and Miss Alvina Cole, sister of the groom. They wore frocks of different shades of blue and flowers in their hair.
Attending the groom were James Buss, as best man, and Raymond Hackel and Wallace Schultz.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, and supper was served to about 50 guests. The home was decorated in streamers of white, blue and pink, and a large, decorated wedding cake served as the centerpiece on the bridal table.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Trianon Gardens.
