Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Haas are now at home to friends on a farm near Colby, Wis. Their marriage took place at Cedar Rapids, Ia.
Miss Evelyn Harrop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Harrop, and Elmer Haas, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Haas, of Unity, were united in marriage in the Methodist parsonage at 9:15 in the morning of June 18, by her uncle, the Rev. C. W. Harrop, who also married her parents. June 18 was also the birthday anniversary of the engagement of the couple.
For her wedding the bride wore a dress of white wool with lime green accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of salmon colored carnations.

After a short honeymoon in southern Wisconsin, and at the Dells, they were honored on their return by a coin shower given at their home by a group of neighbors and friends, Monday afternoon.
Neighbors and friends of the bride gave them a charivari, Tuesday evening.
The bride, who is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1942, was employed at the Marshfield Dairy Products company before her marriage.
