Hedrich, Augusta (20 Nov. 1856 - 2 Aug. 1944)
Mrs. Herman (Augusta) Hedrich, of Omro, passed away, Aug. 2, at the Mercy hospital, Oshkosh, the result of a stroke she suffered Wednesday, July 26, at home. Up to that time she was in apparently good health.
Augusta Wildgrube was born in Germany, Nov. 20, 1856. In her youth, she came to America and lived in Manitowoc county. She was united in marriage to Leonhard Fisher, and lived in Brillion. After Mr. Fisher’s death there in 1914, she lived at Appleton.
In July, 1924, she was united in marriage to Herman Hedrich and made her home at Abbotsford, where Mr. Hedrich passed away Nov. 12, 1929.
She then moved to Omro, where she lived until the time of her death.
She is survived by one son, Hartwig Fisher, Omro; four grand children, Selma and Ewald Kussrow, of Dorchester; Loantha and Viola Kussrow, Milwaukee; and one step-daughter, Mrs. John Zahorka, Colby, Wis. Three children preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, at Grace Lutheran church, at Omro, at 2:00 o’clock with the Rev. Paul Lueder officiating. Internment was made in the Brillion cemetery.
