Lundahl, Elizabeth Johanne (4 Feb. 1876 - 18 Oct. 1944)
Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Johanne Lundahl, 68, who died of embolism at her home, Wednesday morning, will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester at 2:00, with the Rev. J. Brandt officiating. This will be preceded by a short service at 1:30 at the Zink Funeral Home, where the body is lying in state. Internment will be made in Memorial cemetery, Dorchester, Wis.
Elizabeth Lundahl was born Feb. 4, 1876 in the Town of Mequon, near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At an early age she came with her parents to a farm near Dorchester, Wis. After she completed her education she worked at dress making and designing for a number of years in Texas and Minneapolis. In the early years of the 1900’s she and a sister had a dress making shop in Abbotsford, Wis.
When her father died in 1921 she came to the home farm and helped run that and after the death of her mother in 1936 she and her sister, Ann, carried on until about six months ago when they moved to Abbotsford, Wis.
For the past few months Miss Lundahl was employed at Medford and it was there that she was taken ill. She came home about ten days ago and on Wednesday morning died at 9:00 o’clock.
The deceased was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester, Wis.
She is survived by the following brothers and sisters:
Ann and George Lundahl, Abbotsford; Mrs. Bertha Geiger and Dora Lundahl, Milwaukee; Mrs. Frank Heath, Longmont, Colo.; Mary Lundahl, East Chicago, Indiana.
Her parents and a brother, Henry, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Lundahl, 63, who died Wednesday, were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Zink Funeral Home, where the body had been lying in state. These were followed by services at 2:00 o’clock at St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester, with the Rev. J. Brandt officiating. During the church services hymns were sung by the adult choir and the a capella children’s choir.
Internment was made in Memorial cemetery, Dorchester, Wis.
Pallbearers were John Bremer, Arthur Baehr, Fred Daellenbach, Elmer Haas, Paul Hundt, and Fred Woempner.
The flowers were carried by nieces of the deceased, the six daughters of George Lundahl, Mrs. Carl Morrow, Abbotsford, and the Misses Georgianna, Lorraine, Grace, Helen and Bernice Lundahl, all of Evanston, Ill.
Other relatives from away who attended the funeral were Miss Mary Lundahl, East Chicago, Ill.; Miss Dora Lundahl, and Mrs. Bertha Geiger, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Backus and Carl Morrow, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Friends from away were Mrs. Calla Skofield and brother, Grant Damon, Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pelschow, Stratford.
