Mrs. Art Manthey and daughter, Carol, of Waunakee visited Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son Saturday morning and were dinner guests there. Later
they continued on to Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma and Mr. and
Mrs. John Poppe of Neillsville visited at the Paul Kuenkel home Saturday
afternoon and were their supper guests.
Miss Bertha Mitte of Milwaukee,
who attended the Mitte-Engevold wedding Saturday, is visiting relatives and
friends for a week. At present she is a house guest of Mrs. Clara Mitte and son.
Mr. and Mrs. William Mitte and their daughter and son-in-law of Iowa
came Friday and attended the Mitte wedding Saturday. They were overnight guests
at the Harold Thoma and David Hoppa homes.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and
family spent Sunday afternoon with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arnold and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dill of Chicago, Mr. and
Mrs. Gilbert Dill of Milwaukee and Mrs. Lydia Dill of Greenwood attended the
Mitte-Engevold wedding Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Neusen and family of Milwaukee attended the
Mitte-Engevold wedding Saturday and were overnight and Sunday dinner guests of
her grandmother, Mrs. Martha Grap. They returned home Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Peter G. Chopp of Chicago and a nephew, Jerry Grap of Milwaukee, came
Saturday morning to visit her sister and his aunt, Mrs. Robert Lemke of
Greenwood. Saturday afternoon they and Mrs. Lemke called on Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
Kalsow and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Art Wegner. Sunday morning Mrs.
Lemke accompanied them home for a few weeks’ visit with relatives and friends.
The Globe Homemakers met at the home of Mrs. Leo Henchen Wednesday evening,
May 19.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thoma entertained Friday afternoon and
evening in honor of Mrs. Thoma’s birthday.
Raymond Kalsow visited at the
Paul Kuenkel home Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mitte and his
sister, Mrs. Tillie Kramer, of Milwaukee, were overnight guests Friday of Mrs.
Hedwig Schoenherr and attended the Mitte-Engevold wedding Saturday afternoon.
They returned to Milwaukee Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux
visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and
Mrs. Hans Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kalsow
and children spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mech in Neillsville
in observance of Mrs. Mech’s birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sturtz, Sr.,
of Loyal visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family Sunday afternoon and had
supper with them.
