Jolivette, Geraldine (Marriage - 11 Apr. 1945)

Miss Geraldine Jolivette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Jolivette, and John Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Brown, were united in marriage, Wednesday evening at 7:30 in the Presbyterian church. The Rev. G. E. Griffiths performed the double ring ceremony.

For the occasion the bride wore a powder blue suit, navy accessories and a shoulder corsage.

Her only attendant was Miss Olive Stettler who also wore a powder blue suit with matching accessories and a shoulder corsage.

Attending his groom was his brother, Frank.

Following the ceremony the guests were entertained at the Altoona Inn.

The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1944, and has attended Taylor County Normal at Medford. The groom is employed at Steffen’s Super Service.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown are making their home in Abbotsford and are living on the place of the groom’s uncle, John Brown.
