Hagen, Florence Belle (Marriage - 11 May 1945)
Announcements have been received of the marriage of Florence Belle Hagen, Junction City, Kansas, and First Lt. Robert William Hanson, Abbotsford, which occurred May 11, in the main chapel at Ft. Riley, Kan.
The bride is a daughter of Col. and Mrs. James H. Hagen, Junction City, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Hanson, of Abbotsford, Route 1.
Lt. Hanson enlisted in the air corps Jan. 25, 1942, and after training at Park’s college, East St. Louis, Enid, Oklahoma, and Foster Field, Texas, he was graduated and commissioned, Sept. 5, 1942.
He returned a year ago from the China-Burma-India theatre where, as first pilot of a B-25, he completed 60 missions. He holds the Distinguished Flying Cross with oak leaf cluster, the Air Medal and Bronze Star.
The newlyweds are making their home in Junction City, Kansas, while the groom is stationed at Marshall Field, Texas.
