Lindau, Arletta M. (Marriage - 6 June 1945)
Miss Arletta M. Lindau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindau, of Dorchester, became the bride of Robert F. Goldamer, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Goldamer, of Abbotsford, on Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. John Brandt read the service at 4:00 o’clock in St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester, Wis. Miss Margaret Daellenbach, of Abbotsford, sang "Oh Perfect Love," accompanied at the organ by Herbert Juneau.
The bride wore a white suit and white accessories and a corsage of pink tea roses. She wore a pearl necklace, the gift of the groom.
Attending the couple were Miss Benetta Schoepke, Milwaukee, and Otto Jackson, Abbotsford, Wis.
Miss Schoepke wore an aqua colored suit with white accessories and a corsage of roses and white carnations.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to 30 guests at the club house in Dorchester, Wis. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Wiedenhoeft’s at Colby and a midnight supper was served.
For the past two years the bride taught school near Spencer and at the Hilltop school in this vicinity, following her graduation from the Marathon County Normal in 1943.
The groom, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, attended a telegraph school at Superior and at present is second trick operator at Marshfield, for the Soo Line.
Mr. and Mrs. Goldamer left on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and on their return will be at home to their friends in Marshfield.
Among the guests from away who attended the wedding were: Mrs. Alvina Cota, Minneapolis; Charles Laack, Rib Lake; Dr. Lehman, Marshfield; Mrs. Gust Laack, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Goldamer, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cornelius, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Daellenbach, Abbotsford, Wis.
