Schulz, William Ernest (3 May 1872 - 13 June 1945)
William Ernest Schulz was born May 3, 1872, at Elkhart Lake, Wis., and died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Chippewa Falls, June 13, 1945, at the age of 73 years, one month and 10 days.
He spent his early years in Colby, Wis.
On Jan. 11, 1904, he was united in marriage to Isabel Christine Nelson, at Abbotsford, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Schulz will be remembered in Abbotsford as the proprietors of the Adams hotel, which has since been torn down and replaced by Kennedy’s store. In August, 1918, he moved his family to Cornell where he has since resided.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Mrs. Isabel C. Schulz, seven children, Henry and Luella, of Milwaukee; Mrs. Inga Pitsch, Jim Falls; Mrs. Annette Tyler, Mrs. Leone Knez and Laura Schulz, Cornell, and Albert of the navy, now overseas.
There are seven grand children and two sisters, Mrs. Ernestina Snyder, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Wilhelmina Herrong, Walla Walla, Wash.
Funeral services were held at Our Savior’s Lutheran church at Cornell on Saturday, June 16, with the Rev. C. M. Veole officiating. Internment was made at the Cornell cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Nelson and son, Clarence, attended the funeral of his brother-in-law.
