Eight To Be Confirmed at Lutheran Church, Sunday

The coming week will be one of increased activity for the children of Christ Lutheran church. Classes are being held morning and afternoon in order to close the summer school by the end of the week. On Friday there will be a combined picnic of the Ladies’ Aid and the summer school, at Cherokee park, at 10:00 o’clock. The parents of the children are also invited.

At the close of the school Mr. Boehlke, the teacher, will leave to conduct school in the town of Wien and will assist Rev. Malueg of Milan.

For the confirmation class there will be examination at 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, June 29. On Sunday morning, July 1, at the 10:30 service, the Rev. John Brandt will administer confirmation to the following: Virginia Bender, Genevieve Bailke, Adeline Krueger, Harlen Laack, Galen Laack, Eugene Graffunder, Bernadine Hoeft and Howard Bedrosky.
