Mauel, Germaine (Marriage - 12 Sept. 1945)
Miss Germaine Mauel, of Weyauwega, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mauel, Owen, and Glen Shreve, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Shreve, of Weyauwega, were united in marriage in St. Bernard’s rectory, Wednesday morning at 9:45. The Rev. Francis Brockman read the marriage service.
Both the bride and her sister, Eleanore, who attended her, wore dark suits and shoulder corsages.
The groom, who has just returned from overseas, had his brother-in-law, Capt. Frederick Wurzbach, as his best man.
Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the Abby Café. A wedding dinner was held at the Woodlawn hotel in Owen and later a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The young couple will make their home in Weyauwega where Mrs. Shreve operates a beauty shop.
