Hunt, Ida Mae (16 Sept. 1873 - 13 Sept. 1945)
Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred D. Hunt, 72, who died Sept. 13, were held Sunday, at the Little White Church at Dorchester, Wis. Internment was made in the Memorial cemetery there, with the Rev. V. Miller officiating at the rites.
The pallbearers were Arthur Hermann, Raymond Krackenberger, Maurice and Lloyd Sorenson, Louis Wigstad and Dr. A. W. Scheif. The flowers were carried by grand children of the deceased.
Ida Mae Winchell was born at Omro, Wis., Sept. 16, 1873. She was married on June 5, 1894, to Alfred DeWitt Hunt at Dorchester, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt had the privilege of celebrating their golden wedding anniversary last year.
To this union eight children were born, two of them, Mabel and Lloyd, preceded their mother in death.
Mr. and Mrs. Hunt and family made their home in Dorchester until six years ago when they moved to Abbotsford, Wis. Mrs. Hunt, who suffered from acute cardiac decomposition, was ill only two days and died at the home of her son, Frank, at Colby, at 5:15, on Thursday afternoon.
Surviving are her husband and six children: Frank Hunt, Colby; Mrs. Charles (Ethel) Hinke, Abbotsford; Mrs. William (Hazel) Kleckner, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lester (Irma) Lappnow, Thiensville; Mrs. Gustav (Mina) Schroeder, Wausau; Mrs. Frank (Anita) Douglas, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edna Will, Calumet, Minn.; and Mrs. Ada Kayhart, Marshfield; three brothers, Joel and Dell Winchell, Dorchester; Dwight Winchell, Valparaiso, Indiana; and 15 grand children and two great grand children.
Out of town relatives besides the children, attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Will, Calumet, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kayhart, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Howard and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Howard, Weyauwega; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Beyreis and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kayhart, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Meyer, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. George Johnson, Chicago; and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Weiland, of Unity, Wis.
