Moberg, Clarence H. (31 Dec. 1905 - 12 Sept. 1945)
Funeral services for Clarence H. Moberg, 39, who died Sept. 12 at St. Mary's hospital, Rochester, Minn., were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Grace Methodist church, Greenwood, with the Rev. Alex J. Abbott officiating. Internment was made in the Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Moberg, who was born in Greenwood, Dec. 31, 1905, and was graduated from Greenwood high school in 1925. He was a member of the Clark County Conservation League, was the local substitute mail carrier and was active in baseball and basket ball.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Christina Moberg, Greenwood; a sister, Mrs. Jay (Levina) Cronin, Minneapolis; and four brothers, John of Escanaba, Mich. Arverd, of East St. Louis, Ill.; Harry of Abbotsford, and Ellery of Neillsville.
His father, Ole, died in 1928, and a sister, Leona, when she was three months old.
Among the relatives from here who attended were Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Moberg and children, Carol, Mrs. Irving Jerabek and Don Moberg, of Cudahy, and Mrs. Clifford Moberg.
