The Ladies’ Home Mission met Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church dining room. The hostesses were Mrs. R. H. Treat and Mrs. C. W. Hoffman. Plans were made for the annual church dinner to be held Oct. 17. The next regular meeting will be held Nov. 7.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Provinski made a business trip to Wausau, Tuesday. They also called on Mr. and Mrs. George Cendt.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hoeft, Wausau, visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hoeft, Sunday.
Mrs. M. C. Bunnell attended the district meeting of the Rebekah lodge at Stevens Point, Monday.
The Royal Neighbors are meeting tonight and will have initiation of members. The committee serving will be Mrs. Martin Anderson, Mrs. Ervin Bitter and Mrs. Ferdinand Haack.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mauritz attended a meeting of the Women’s Missionary Society at the Fred Harris home, Colby, route, Wednesday.
