Dodge, Allen Raymond (8 July 1873 - 31 Oct. 1945)
Masonic Funeral rites, under the auspices of the Abbotsford and Rib Lake lodges, will be held for A. R. Dodge, who died, at the age of 72, at his home, Wednesday, at the Zink Funeral home, Sunday afternoon. The Rev. G. E. Griffiths, of the Presbyterian church, will officiate at the religious service. Internment will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Allan Raymond Dodge was born July 8, 1873, in Mesick, Mich. He attended school in Michigan and following his graduation from Ferris Institute at Cadillac, Mich., he taught school for two years. For 35 years he was engaged in buying and selling lumber from which he turned to farming in 1932, when he bought a farm five miles east of Dorchester in the town of Holton.
Mr. Dodge was married on July 6, 1922 to Miss Kathrine Krieske, of Knowlton at Waukegan, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Dodge had undergone a major operation three years ago after which he was only in fair health. He was seriously ill since Oct. 1 and died at his home, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
He leaves his widow and two sisters, Miss Emily Dodge and Mrs. Tom Wilson, both of Independence, Kansas.

On Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, funeral services were held at the Zink Funeral home for A. R. Dodge who died Oct. 31 at his home. Services were in charge of Rib Lake and Abbotsford Masonic lodges. Music was furnished by Mrs. Wilbur Kuehnast, vocalist, and Mrs. W. R. Berger, pianist. Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Among the relatives from away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Peters, Milwaukee; Mrs. John Pendowski, Waukesha; Mr. and Mrs. John Berendt and family and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krieske and family, Knowlton.
Friends from away were Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Cater, Mosinee; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hibbard and Mrs. Lewis Moscottia, Knowlton; Mrs. Reuben Helke and Mrs. Edward Rauscher, of Wausau.
