Wibben, Alice (Marriage - 27 Oct. 1945)
Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Wibben, of Abbotsford, announce the marriage of their daughter, Alice, to Norman Dunbar, of Stratford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Dunbar, of Waupaca. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Brandt in the parsonage of St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester, on Oct. 27, at 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
The bride wore a blue suit for the occasion and her only attendant Miss Ruth Dunbar, of Waupaca, sister of the groom, wore a gray suit. Both wore corsages of roses.
Lyle Wibben, brother of the bride, was the best man.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, and a wedding dance at the Trianon was held in the evening.
Among those who attended the wedding were: Rueben Dunbar and family, Stratford; Miss Kathryn Knox, Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kobs, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Holtman and family, Fenwood, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Dunbar, Waupaca; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunbar, Weyauwega; Mr. and Mrs. Philip Waytasek and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bahr and son, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wibben and family, Colby; and Miss Dorothy Wibben, of Stetsonville.
