Mrs. Henry Frese, Reporter
Mrs. Henry Frese received the sad news Thursday afternoon that her brother,
Sylvester Vanderloop of Stanley passed away.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lato and
family and Mrs. George Nichols of Brookfield spent the weekend at the John K.
Lato home.
Mr. and Mrs. Zigmund Danielewicz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Truckey and Randy, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Budzinski and Emony and Billy helped
Betty Budzinski celebrate her birthday on Sunday.
Nelly Gracia spent
Thursday night at the Walter Reinke home.
Mrs. Gertrude Barth spent a few
days at the Robert Barth home at Stanley, as Robert was on the sick list and is
now a patient at St. Joseph Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
Mr. and Mrs.
Donald Dahm and son of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Walter Dahm home.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Harycki visited at the Joe Grajkowski home Sunday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Vanderloop and daughter, Brenda of
Fredonia, Mrs. Mathilda Brown of Cedarburg called at the Henry Frese home
Saturday night.
Mrs. George Biddle visited at the Gertrude Barth home on
Monday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reinkie, Mrs. Hattie Beyer and Mrs.
Pierce Owens of Withee were among those who attended the farewell party of Nelly
Gracia at the Thorp High School Sunday night.
Mrs. Gertrude Barth and
Fred visited Robert Barth at the Chippewa Hospital on Sunday.
Tuesday
night, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Michur of Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Coates and Tommy,
Mrs. Joseph Kozenka visited at the Ed Michur home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard
Jacque and sons visited at the Ed Romanowski home Sunday night.
Ed
Michur, Jr. left for service on Wednesday of last week.
Roy Sorenson of
Chicago spent the weekend at the Bernard Jacque home.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Malinowski visited at the Walter Anderson home at Cadott on Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Anton Jacque visited at the Bernard Jacque home on Monday
night.
