Cebulla, Mary Jane (7 JUL 1938 – 21 JAN 1966)

Mrs. Thomas Cebulla, the former Mary Jane Rowan, passed away at Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, Friday evening, January 21st, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at Glen Lake, Minnesota on Monday, January 24th, at 9:00 a.m. with Father Tony Muskala officiating. Burial was made at Thorp, Wis., at 3:00 p.m. Father Jos. Wagner, Cadott, officiated at the brief cemetery services. Pallbearers were Keith Bertz, Richard Prosen, Leonard Mrochek, Burr Anderson, Dr. Ernest Ueland and Tom Egan, all of Hopkins, Minnesota.

Mary Jane Rowan was born on July 7, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wis; she lived in Thorp for several years before moving to Cadott, where she attended school and graduated in 1956 from the Cadott High School. After graduation she was employed in office work in Milwaukee, Cadott and the Twin Cities. Her marriage to Thomas Cebulla took place at the St. Rose of Lima Church in Cadott, October 14, 1961. They became residents of Hopkins, Minn.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Thomas Cebulla II of Hopkins, Minn.; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tobola of Cadott; two brothers, James of Marion, Wis. and John of Milwaukee, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Grace Boardman of Thorp. She was preceded in death by her father in 1940.
