ALEDO, Ill. - Vern Luepke, 76, Aledo, Ill., died Dec. 30 at Moline Public Hospital in Moline, Ill.

Services were Monday at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Aledo. Burial in the Aledo Cemetery.

He married Violeta Orth in 1933, at Loyal.

He is survived by his wife, Violeta; one daughter, Ruth Bisio of Peoria, Ill.; two sons, Darrell and Robert, both of Aledo; two sisters, Viola Neuman of Loyal, and Hazel Anderson of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; one brother, Warnerd of Milwaukee; one step-brother, Casper Tietema of Grand Rapids, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
