Haas, Charles S. #2 (10 FEB 1874 - 23 MAY 1950)
Funeral services for Charles S. Haas, 76, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), were conducted from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), Saturday afternoon at two o’clock, with the Rev. W. Myron Glick officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Haas passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient for but a few days.
Mr. Haas was born on Feb. 10, 1874, at Dodgeville. He received his education there and on Nov. 27, 1918, married the former Blanche Daugherty at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The deceased came to the Town of Longwood in 1905 and farmed there until seven years ago, when he retired and moved to Withee, remaining there until his death.
Surviving are his wife, a sister, Mrs. Louisa Owens, Owen; and three brothers, George, Livingston; Thomas of Withee; and William, Monticello. A son, two sisters, and two brothers preceded him in death.
