Winter, Louis (13 December 1898 - ? June 1971)

The first couple lines of this is missing -

Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton beginning this (Thursday) morning until Friday noon when the body will be taken to the church.

Louis Winter was born December 13, 1898, in the Town of Lynn, and received his education there. His marriage to the former Lydia Sternitzky took place at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton on June 11, 1924. After their marriage, they lived on a farm in the Town of Lynn until about a month ago when they moved to Marshfield. Mr. Winter was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church in the town of Grant and has served the church as a deacon, a trustee and as treasurer.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, the Rev. Edward Winter of Eaton, O.; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Bores of Stratford, Mrs. Clarence (Marian) Pannier of Sac City, Ia., Mrs. LaVern (Janet) Landwehr of Stratford, and Mrs. Ronald (Joyce) Woodkey of Marshfield; and 19 grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers, Arno Winter and Celon Winter, both of Granton; and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Marg of Ledyard, Conn., and Miss Ruth Winter of Neillsville.
