Karl J. Aaberg leaves tomorrow for Madison where
he will attend summer school.
Mr. and Mrs. Cort Sheets and son Gilbert
and a sister of Mr. Sheet's of Lima, Ohio, are visiting relatives and friends
here.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Rossbach of Stetsonville spent Sunday here at the
H.M. Pratt home.
Aug. Acker expects to go to Chippewa Falls today to see
his son and daughter, who are at the hospital there.
The Dorcas
Missionary Society will have their annual sale at the United Lutheran Church,
July 1. Cake, coffee and ice cream will be served.
C.H. Zimmerman autoed
to Wonewoc Tuesday and took his mother, who has been visiting here, back home. A
sister from out west, who has also been visiting here at the Zimmerman home,
accompanied them to Wonewoc.
Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Greene were Owen callers
Thursday.
George Hoehne was at Minneapolis last Wednesday and Thursday.
Rev. S.P. Frye left Sunday for Chicago where he is attending the Eucharist
congress.
Mrs. A.H. Noetzel went to Madison Sunday for a few day's visit
with her daughter, Ambrosia.
Rev. and Mrs. O.J. Vriesen and Rev. and Mrs.
E.G. Pfeiffer attended the pastoral conference at Neillsville at the home of
Supt. Benjamin Stucki of Neillsville Indian School.
Master Donald Stabnow
is visiting relatives and friends at Loyal.
Louis LaBonte of Stanley, who
recently purchased the former Stanton building, is having it re-painted. He
expects to be ready for business July 1st.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jolivette of
Abbotsford have rented the D.S. Francis residence and will move into same soon.
Mrs. D.J. Gilbert, sister of Mrs. A.G. Sherman, left Friday for Anoka, Minn.
From there she will return to her home in Marysville, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs.
C. Keiner and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Corbin and sons spent Sunday at Irvine
Park at Chippewa Falls, and also visited friends there.
There will be
English services at the Reformed Church on the West Side next Sunday evening at
8 o'clock.
Palmer Vinger transacted business at Janesville last week.
John Schmitt of Dorchester was a Greenwood caller Tuesday.

Stoller and Otto Horn left Tuesday by auto for Norwalk, Iowa.
Mrs. Hanna
Sahlie of Wheeler, who has been visiting at the M.A. Aaberg home, left for home
today.
Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Humke and Mrs. A. Steiger spent from Saturday
until Monday with relatives and friends at West Salem and La Crosse.
Mrs.
A.J. Danielson of Chippewa Falls and Mrs. T.M. Curran and two daughters of Eau
Claire spent Sunday here at the J. Art Johnson home.
Mr. and Mrs. M.E.
Kenyon and son were Marshfield visitors Sunday.
Miss Eleanor Krieg
accompanied the Sisters of the local Catholic School to La Crosse last week.
Miss Riff Carter arrived home from the University at Madison Wednesday and
will spend hter vacation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Carter.
Miss Hazel Barr underwent an operation at the Chippewa Falls Hospital Monday
for the removal of a goiter. She is getting along nicely.
Mr. and Mrs.
L.E. Rees autoed to Chippewa Falls last Wednesday. Mr. Rees returned home the
same day, while Mrs. remained for an extended visit with relatives and friends.
Mrs. C. Haglund, who has been visiting relatives at St. Paul, returned home
Sunday. Her daughter, Mrs. Johnson, accompanied here to Greenwood for a week's
visit.
