Bjornstad, Sever (17 JAN 1864 - 28 NOV 1950)
Funeral services will be conducted for Sever Bjornstad, 86, who passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday evening. Burial will be made at Riverside. Serving as pallbearers will be John Marking, Julius Johnson, Hans C. Madsen, Kenneth Mathewson, James Crowley and L. W. Cattanach.
In the death of Mr. Bjornstad, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) loses one of its oldest residents, as he was among the first to come to Owen when this site was picked by John S. Owen Lumber Company for their logging operations.
He had been a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital ever since a week ago last Saturday when he suffered a stroke at his home.
