Funeral services for M. C. McVey, 72, will be conducted at two o’clock Monday afternoon, Dec. 18, 1950 from the Methodist Church at Withee. A clergyman from Loyal will officiate and burial will be made in the Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. McVey passed away late Wednesday night at his farm home in the Town of Maplehurst (Taylor Co., Wis.). He had been ill for some time and had been in a coma for the past several days. He was a pioneer settler in the Town of Maplehurst and had been especially active in town affairs and served as it town chairman for a good many years.
