Hulett, Mary Theresa (28 February 1932 - 31 March 2009)
Mary Hulett, 77, of Neillsville, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Mary Theresa Hulett was born February 29, 1932, in Humbird, the daughter of Lawrence and Tilly Emer. She attended school in Humbird and then graduated from Alma Center High School. After graduation she worked for Presto in Eau Claire. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Hulett Nov. 6, 1971, at the Fairview Church in Humbird.
Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. She would often sing in the choir and play organ for weddings when she was younger. She enjoyed fishing with her husband. Mary will be remembered as a loving wife, and she will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; a brother, Lawrence (Donna) Emer of Humbird and their children, Peter and Marie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bill.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2009, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville with Fr. Woodrow H. Pace as Celebrant. Interment was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Neillsville. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Gesche Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Peter Emer, Jerry Heath, Kevin Heath, Kenneth Hulett, Michael Hulett and James Moore.
The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Mary’s family with funeral arrangements.
