Isadore Hackel, Of The Marines, Killed On Iwo

Mrs. Isadore Hackel received a letter from the war department this morning, stating that her husband, a marine, was killed in action on Iwo Jima, on March 13.

He had been overseas since about thanksgiving time.

Mrs. Hackel, the former Rosebud Sheldon of Abbotsford, with her two children, has recently moved from Milan to Colby, Wis.

Isadore Hackel was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hackel, Abbotsford, Route 1.
