Plenty of rain now days.

The new minister, Rev. McKaen is here.

Mrs. Dr. Poff is still very low. Her daughters, Lillian and Rose, are home from their school duties at La Crosse.

James Irish of Rochester, Minnesota, is visiting friends here.

David Carter returned to his home in Osseo Monday after spending a week with friends in Shortville.

Edward Carter died at his home in Washburn, Thursday afternoon, May 10. Funeral services were held in the church Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Foster of Reedsburg. He was laid to rest in the Grant Cemetery.
