Vanderhoof, Dale W. (10 Aug. 1917 - 13 June 1988)
Spencer, Wis. - Dale W. Vanderhoof, 70, Spencer, Wisconsin, died at 5:23 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rux Funeral Home in Spencer. The Rev. William Ruhbusch will officiate. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery. Organist will be Mrs. Daniel Schwantes.
Pallbearers will be Brian and Kevin Boyles, Dennis Woodkey Jr., Richard Reinhart, Scott Williams, and Richard Wilson.
Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home in Spencer after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
He was born Aug. 10, 1917, in the town of Sherman, to Frank and Anna Vanderhoof. He attended the Cole School in the town of Sherman.
He married Dorothy Oelrich Oct. 15, 1939, in Westboro.
He farmed in the town of Spencer.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Ellen) Woodkey of Spencer, and Mrs. Carl (Joan) Boyles of Withee, one son, Dale Jr. of Marshfield; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Bernice) Krueger and Ruby Johnson, both of Marshfield; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents.
