Sorenson, Julius (16 JUL 1891 - 5 FEB 1951)
Final rites were conducted from the First Congregational Church, Owen, at two o’clock this afternoon and later Mason services were held for Julius Sorenson. The Rev. W. Myron Glick officiated and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Gordon Thorson, Don Hawks, Manfred Dietrich, John Potocnik, Dr. K. O. Crosby and Harvey Weddig. Those in charge of flowers were Ruth Hawks, mary K. Jensen, Mildred Grimes, Pauline Randall and Helen Haselow.
Mr. Sorenson was born on July 16, 1891 at Glenwood City, being 60 years of age at the time of his death. He passed away suddenly at his home at about two o’clock Monday afternoon when he suffered a heart attack. He had been in failing health for the past couple of years suffering from a heart condition.
Surviving him are his wife, one daughter and three sons.
