Rahn, Caroline #2 (17 OCT 1861 - 4 FEB 1951)
Mrs. Caroline (Kinow) Rahn, who had been living with her son, Fred J. Rahn, in the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), for the past several years, died at her home on Feb. 4th, 1951 when she suffered a heart attack.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 7th, from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin), Owen, with Rev. Puhlman officiating. Burial was made in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Calvin Mills, Harvey Bitter, Ernest Stockmeyer, Albert Wagner, Frank Hamm and Elmer Neitzel.
She received her schooling while still a resident of Germany. On June 5th, 1887 she was married to Fred Rahn, Sr., at Fall Creek, Wis. Three children were born to the couple, one son Fred and two daughters, Mrs. Emma Young of Lockport, Ill. and Elsie Rahn of South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Rahn preceded her in death, having died in 1925.
