I am looking for David Davies/Davis, born Cardiganshire Wales 1836 and died in Clark County between 1910-1920. He was the father of John D. Davis.

Interesting as I helped a friend Rees Roberts of Racine WI, research his parents who came from Wales. His mother was Kay (Katie) Davies and her parents were John Davies and wife Mary. Kay's siblings were Annie, David, John, Evan, Griffith, Gwennie, Nellie, Laura. I am not longer helping him as he found a contact in Wales (who is on Ancestry) who is now helping him out. Mary

Kay's husband Evan Roberts was born in Festinigg, Merionethshire, Wales. I know that they were married before moving to the US in 1930.
