MaryAnn Rose Primc was born Nov. 20, 1933, in Loyal, a daughter of Lee and Verna (Domine) Shupe. Toots attended Loyal schools.
On March 22, 1952, at the courthouse in Neillsville, the former Ms. Shupe was united in holy marriage to Leo Stanley Primc. The couple made their home in the Loyal/Greenwood area. After an accident to Leo, MaryAnn gave care to him, and upon his death Feb. 2, 1982, she had moved to Marshfield.
MaryAnn was employed at several businesses, including Silvercote, Automated Products, Greenwood Bakery, St. Mary's Catholic Church School in Greenwood as a cook, as well as a cook at the Village Plaza in Spencer and at the Goodwill Store in Marshfield. She was first and foremost a mother and homemaker and was full of energy and enthusiasm. She never had much time to spare but always made time for her children. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. In 1996, MaryAnn had a massive stroke and was unable to care for herself. Tootsie moved in with her daughter, JoAnn. She had a wonderful and loving caregiver, Sandy Holroyd, which the family is eternally grateful.
Mrs. Primc is lovingly survived by her children, JoAnn Marie Primc, Marshfield, William Stanley Primc, Phoenix, Stanley Albin (Donna) Primc, Loyal, and Deborah Ann (Ralph) Kledehn, Arpin. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Michael (Kristi) Primc, Marshfield, Lori (James) Carlson, Rudolph, Joshua Olson, Marshfield, Kellie Kast, Reedsburg, Karrie Kledehn, Boston, Mass., and Kraig Kledehn, La Crosse, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers and sisters, Don, Ed, Lawrence "Toby" and Jerry Shupe and Evelyn Syth and JoAnn Shupe in infancy.
