A double ring ceremony performed in the parsonage of the Methodist Church at Stanley untied Joyce Carol Hodnett in marriage to James Walter Ruggles. The nuptial vows were repeated after the Rev. Leland Shaw at one o’clock, Saturday, Aug. 4, 1951.
For the occasion the bride wore a suit of navy blue with matching accessories. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Navarre of Withee.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Webster Hodnett, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), while the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ruggles, Withee.
Immediately following the ceremony the couple left on a wedding trip taking them to North and South Dakota and Montana. Upon their return they will reside on the former Webster Hodnett farm three miles west of Withee.
