Greenwood (10 June 1971)

Mrs. Paul Minsaas and her sister, Mrs. Arthur Hare, the former Lillian Wornke, of Niles, Mich., visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hare.

Weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Glen Drew were Mr. and Mrs. Elton Dillon of pelican Rapids, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Drew of Viroqua. Mrs. Dillon is the former Susie Drew.

Mr. and Mrs. William Swain of Spokane, Wash., were dinner guests Saturday at the Norbert Kuester home and supper guests at the Leon Kuester home.

Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Christie were her brothers and wives, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Vine and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Vine of Janesville, who also visited other relatives while here.

Dinner guests Wednesday at the Harlan Brux home were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Tucker and Mike of Loyal and Chris Neil of London, England.

Joseph Kohlnhofer is a patient at the hospital in Marshfield.

Mrs. Owen Williams of Glendive, Mont., is spending some time with her sisters and brother, Mrs. Phillip Vollrath, Mrs. Gertrude McCann, Mrs. Martin Zickert and James Cronin. Another brother, Floyd Cronin of Rockford, Ill., spent a weekend with them.

Karl Aaberg of Mankato, Minn., was a weekend guests at the David Danielson home. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Danielson, former Greenwood residents who now reside in Woodstock, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blaasch have returned after spending some time on a trip to the west coast. In Portland, Ore., they visited her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Arends, former Greenwood residents.

Mrs. Alan Bushman was admitted Saturday to Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr and Mrs. Erwin Toburen and Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Bell spent several days at the Edwin Schmidt home in Alma.

Relatives and friends were entertained at the home of Mrs. John Zepaltas, Sr., Thursday evening at a graduation party honoring her daughter, Donna, and Edward Brux.

Guests Wednesday and Thursday at the Walter Decker home were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wendt of Sidney, Mont., and Mrs. Amelia Mattausch of Neillsville. Other guess Wednesday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Arno Miller and Sharon and Mrs. Erna Wehrman.

Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Humke and Mrs. Marcia Palms were Mr. and Mrs. George Humke of Sterling, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clintsman held open house in honor of the graduation of their daughter, Roxanne. Relatives came from Owen, Waukesha, St. Paul, Menomonie and Boyceville. Roxanne’s maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Tyrrell of Menomonie, attended the graduation exercises.
