The Misses Nora Gotter and Rose
Viergutz returned from Milwaukee Sunday after spending the winter at that place.
Fred Hankey and John Riedel have
purchased a portable saw mill and are ready to saw lumber for anyone.
Mrs. Henry Hartson of Greenwood
visited Mrs. Geo. Brooks over Sunday.
Miss Elsie Neitzel and nieces,
the Misses Hollenbach spent Sunday pm with Martha Nitschke.
Mrs. R.C. Neiman and Martha
Sternitsky and Edith Sparks spent Sunday with the Chas. Brooks family.
Mrs. Pete Jensen visited several
days with the Richard Gotter family at Lindsay.
Mrs. Montag just recently visited
her son Herman at Chili for several days.
Carl Schuetke of Cobb, Wis,
arrived Sunday morning and spent several days at the Aug. Gotter home.
Mrs. Geo. Brooks who has been
sick for some time was slightly on the gain the fore part of this week.
August Gotter was very sick and
weak last week when an artery on his leg burst.
He is some better but not able to rise from his bed.
Mrs. Frances Steinbach was given
a pleasant surprise Saturday eve by a number of her neighbors and friends, it
being a farewell party before her departure for Forest Jct. where she will make
her home.
Lester Chapman and sister Myrtle
of Omro, Wis. Arrived Friday and visited their uncle Mel Chapman until
Wednesday.
Miss Ada Tremelling is spending
the week with her cousin Lucile Altenburg.
The Misses Frances and Martha
Nitschke were shoppers in Marshfield between trains Monday.
Miss Frances Brooks is enjoying
her vacation at home this week.
