School closed Wednesday for one week’s vacation.

Albert Quicker who some time ago joined the Navy is spending a few weeks at home with his parents.

Joe Quicker who had about made up his mind to answer all of the spring roosters and suckling pigs was defeated on election day by 2 votes.

We are sorry to say but never the less it is a fact that we have been neglecting our duty as correspondent for some time, and as the Editor who is a known outlaw has threatened us with total destruction and not being ready to scuffle off this mental coil and put on the robes of immortality, we will once more enter the lime light and inform every one that comes within our range of vision.

Riedel and Hankey are sawing lumber for Alvin Sternitsky and the surrounding neighborhood.

Mr. Henry Retslaff is at present very low.

The little girl of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Guk was christened Sunday at the Lutheran Church of Fremont.  The little lady will hereafter be known as Viola, and her dad says when the swallows begin to nest and the state roads are in better shape, he will loosen up his purse strings and do things fir for such occasion.

Walter Moldenhauer moved his saw mill to Wm. Wagner’s Tuesday.
