Elsinger, Jerome Lee (23 Jan. 1944 - 23 Apr. 2009)
Jerome L. Elsinger, 65, of Spencer, Wisconsin died at the House of the Dove Hospice Home, in Marshfield, on Thursday, April 23, 2009.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal. Inurnment will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Spencer, Wis. -- Jerome L. Elsinger, 65, of Spencer, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the House of the Dove Hospice Home in Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal. The Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel will officiate and inurnment will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Following the graveside committal service, there will be a celebration of Jerry's life at the Loyal Sportsmans Club starting at 2 p.m.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from noon until time of service.
Jerome Lee Elsinger was born Jan. 23, 1944, in Greenwood, the son of John and Marian (Rueth) Elsinger. He grew up and received his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1962. After completing his education, Jerry worked at Pathfinder Homes in Spencer. He was united in marriage May 1, 1965, to Sandra Neumann. They later divorced.
He was employed at Fleet Farm in Marshfield and also at the Marshfield Cannery for several years. Currently, Jerry was employed at A&B Process Systems in Stratford. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed socializing and having a good time with family and friends, playing cards and hunting.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Sheri (Ron) Schuh of Spencer, Craig (Carmin) Elsinger of Spencer, Shane (Julie) Elsinger of Stoughton, Blake (Kelly) Elsinger of Stratford; eight grandchildren, Cailee, Camron, Elijah and Aryiah Schuh, Morgan and Austin Elsinger, Lee and Amelia Elsinger; six sisters, Carol (Jon) Fischer of Spencer, Janet (William) Erickson of Waunakee, Mary Tesmer of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, Karen (John) Nelson of Loyal, Shelby Schmitt of Marshfield, and Pamela (Tracy) Mews of Loyal; and two brothers, Tom (Arnette) Elsinger of Menomonee Falls, and James (Maria) Elsinger of Loyal.
He is further survived by his special friend and companion, Judee Krueger of Spencer and her son, Nathaniel (Michelle) Krueger and their children, Brandon, Kayla and Ariana of Unity, and Judee's daughter, Naomi (Frank Cary) Krueger of Unity, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judy Elsinger Wann; and a brother-in-law, Warren Tesmer.
