Kerns, Richard (31 AUG 1841 - 6 JUL 1907)

Richard Kerns died at his home at Sedro Wooley, Wash., on July 6th, 1907. He was born at Rusticanta, Maine, on Aug. 31, 1841. He was a resident of this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) 39 years ago, living here for three years and then going west to make his home. In 1884 he returned to Clark County and was married to Miss Anna Lepke. Mr. Kerns was a prosperous logger and leaves his wife and six children well cared for . He was an honorable and intelligent man, successful in business and happy in his home life. His parents died in Neillsville many eyars ago, but his brother Tom, and sister, Miss Margaret, still survive to mourn him.
