Peissig, Richard Alan (January 9, 1987 - April 23, 2009)
Richard Alan Peissig, age 22, of Curtiss passed away at his home on April 23, 2009.
Rick was born on January 9, 1987 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield to his loving parents Kathy and Claude Peissig.
He graduated from the Abbotsford High School in 2005. He was voted Best Smile in his senior year book. He was employed at Loos Machine in Colby, Wis. He is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Curtiss. He enjoyed snowmobiling, dirt biking, 4-wheeling, and bowling with friends. Richard loved music and his family.
Richard is lovingly survived by his parents Claude and Kathy Peissig, Abbotsford, his sister Lisa (Eric) Totzke, Abbotsford, grandmother Mary Carlson, Abbotsford and was a proud and loving uncle to his niece Nia. He will be dearly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, special friend Samantha Herdt and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by Franklin and Francis Peissig and Grandfather Richard Carlson.
Visitation will be on Sunday April 26, 2009 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis. Further visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss on Monday April 27, 2009 from 9:30-10:45 a.m.. His funeral Service will take place following visitation at the church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place following the service at Pine Hill Cemetery in the town of Mayville.
