The wedding of Miss Minnie Esther Thayer and Harrison S. Richards took place at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary E. Thayer, 3244 Harriet Av., in the presence of about forty guests. Rev. Samuel M. Dick read the service and Mrs. A. L. Bread played the Lohengrin wedding march. Miss Ethel Ring, a cousin of the bride, of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), san "Love Me and the World Is Mine" shortly before the vows were spoken.

The bridal gown was of white point lace over accordion pleated crepe de chine. The bodice was made in mandarin effect and was held in at the waist with a deep girdle and sash of white silk mire. Her flowers were a cluster of bride roses. Miss Bess A. Thayer, the sister of the bride, was maid of honor and wore white figured net over white silk and held ferns and asters. Ralph M. Thayer was the best man. The decorations throughout the house were in white and green, and palms, sweet peas, ferns and asters made a bower of flowers and foliage in the parlor. After the service an informal reception was held. Assisting in the dining room at the refreshment table were Misses Grace Russel, Gertrude Claypool, Gertrude Braman and Sadie Frye. Mr. and Mrs. Richards left on a short wedding tour later in the afternoon. The bride wore a traveling gown of brown broadcloth. Mr. and Mrs. Richards will occupy the home of Mrs. Thayer, 3244 Harriet Av. And will receive after Oct. 15.
