Lindow, Elaine (Marriage - 17 Oct. 1946)

St. Bernard’s church was the scene of a lovely wedding, this morning, at 9:00 o’clock, when the marriage of Miss Elaine Lindow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lindow, of Medford, and John Guziak, of Abbotsford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Guziak, of Gad, took place.

The wedding party marched to the altar to the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin. Miss Carol Reckenthaler, of Medford, and Lee Casey, Miss Alice Guziak and Edward Lindow were followed by the groom, with his mother, and the bride with her father. The bride’s attendants wore frocks made alike with velvet bodices and full net skirts, on which were tied velvet bows to match the bodice. Their head dresses were made of matching braided net and they carried large bouquets of white chrysanthemums and pompons.

Miss Guziak, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, wore a frock with burgundy top and pink skirt. Miss Reckenthaler, a friend of the bride, as bridesmaid, wore a combination of royal blue with a light blue skirt.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents and a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, followed by a wedding dance in the evening at Gad.

After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Guziak will make their home at Medford until they can find *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
