Wiese, Margaret (Marriage - Oct. 1946)
A wedding reception and candle light dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Frederickson, whose marriage took place recently, was held at the armory club rooms, Saturday afternoon. The rooms were decorated in streamers of white, pink, yellow and blue, a color scheme carried out in the gowns of the bride’s attendants and in the flowers they carried. Candles of these same colors were used to decorate the tables. The center piece on the bridal table was a large, decorated cake, topped by a miniature bride and groom.
The bride, the former Margaret Wiese, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wiese, was gowned in white satin, fashioned with a lace trimmed bodice, sweet heart neck line, long sleeves and a court train. The lace edged veil with its long train, fell from a tiara of rhinestones. She wore a gold cross and carried a mixed bouquet of colored flowers.
Attending her were her four married sisters and a sister-in-law, Miss Rose Wunsch, all dressed in frocks of net, over satin. Mrs. Val Lucas, Milwaukee, matron of honor, was gowned in white; Mrs. Frank Wunsch, also of Milwaukee, wore pink; Mrs. Nick Schommer, Abbotsford, wore blue; Mrs. Ervin Wunsch, Curtiss, wore yellow and Miss Rose Wunsch wore pink. All the attendants wore gold lockets and wrist corsages of mixed flowers.
The color scheme of the wedding was also carried out in the shoulder corsages worn by the mothers.
The groom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Frederickson, Curtiss, Route 1, had his brother-in-law, Val Lucas, for his best man. The other men in the wedding party were Frank Wunsch, Nick Schommer, Ervin Wunsch, and Norman Frederickson, twin brother of the groom.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at the armory.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederickson are making their home in Abbotsford, Wis. Mr. Frederickson is employed as cheese maker with his father at the Four Corners Cheese Factory on Highway 29, west. Mrs. Frederickson is employed at Streckert’s.
