Barr, Dolores (Marriage - 28 Nov. 1946)

Thanksgiving day was chosen as the wedding day of Miss Dolores Barr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Barr, of Colby, and Maurice Thompson, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Thompson, of Abbotsford, Wis.

They and their attendants, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Helding, of Kenosha, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, drove to La Crosse and there, in the Presbyterian parsonage, the Rev. L. C. Smith, formerly of Abbotsford, read the marriage service at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Thompson are making their home in Abbotsford, Wis.

The bride has been employed as operator at the Colby telephone exchange and the groom is employed in the office of the Northwest Distributing company, at Colby, Wis.
