Mrs. Frank Zondlo, Rib Lake, spent from Friday until Monday with her mother, Mrs. Frank Chris.
Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Bunnell left Sunday for California. They will visit their sons, Eli and Fritz, and other relatives.
Roy Montaney of Stanley, arrived Saturday to visit at the A. L. Adams home.
The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Terrio was christened, Arlie Anne, in St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Sunday afternoon. The sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Hertle of Marshfield.
Friday, Dec. 13, was lucky for both the first and second basket ball teams when they met the Withee teams. The second team won by 22 to 10 and the first team took 45 to Withee’s 36 points.
The ringing of the fire bell, late Saturday evening, had quite a number of people guessing. A grain truck from Minnesota had caught fire and drove off the highway on the runway at Felker’s service station. The fire department extinguished the fire.
